Currently doen't exist, from a regulatory point of view, the definition of "biodynamic wine". The so-called biodynamic wine, or wine made following biodynamic agriculture dictates, is a wine produced according to the anthroposophic teachings of Rudolf Steiner's "cosmic" vision. Exist a worldwide association of biodynamic producers (also in Italy), the Demeter, which verify and approves the product by putting his trademark (wine Demeter/Biodynamic). The three principles are: maintaining the fertility of the land, freeing it nutritive materials; make plants healthy so they can resist to diseases and pests; produce an high quality wine.
