Chocolate
The use of chocolate in Italy dates back to the 17th century, when in many italian cities such as Turin, Venice, Florence and Modica in Sicily spread out many artisan chocolate laboratories. At the end of the 19th century were founded the most important italian chocolate factories such as Caffarel, Pernigotti, Venchi, Perugina and Ferrero. Today italian pralines for example Bacio Perugina, Gianduiotto, Cremino, Ferrero Rocher, Cuneesi al Rum and the chocolate cream Nutella are known all over the world.
