Salento Rosato
Salento Rosato is a DOC rosé wine whose production is allowed in the Salento provinces. The first rosé wine was bottled in Italy, precisely in Salice Salentino in 1943 from Antica Azienda Vitivinicola dei Conti "Leone de Castris". This kind of wine has a bright color, cherry red, is characterized by an intense, quite complex, fine, fruity, floral and mineral aroma. On the palate is dry, warm, soft, balanced and persistent. Pairs well with the traditional frisa salentina, excellent with linguine with seafood, sea bass and sea bream.
