Arneis
Arneis is a white Italian wine grape variety originating from Roero in the region of Piedmont, Italy. Outside of Piedmont, limited plantings of the grape can be found in Liguria and Sardinia. Arneis is also known under the synonyms Bianchetta or Nebbiolo Bianco. It used in the production of Langhe DOC and is the main grape used for the production of the famous Piedmontese white wine Roero Arneis DOCG, that tend to be dry and full body with notes of pears and apricots.
