Greco Bianco
The Greco Bianco wine is considered one of the most ancient wines of Italy: the vine which produces the Greco Bianco has very ancient origins: it is believed that the first branch arrived in Calabria, in the territory of Bianco in the seventh century a.C. In 1980, the Greco Bianco had the recognition of the DOC. Bianco is the Greek term for the variety typical of the coastal Ionian coast close to Reggio, in particular in the area of Bianco, in Calabria, but sometimes it refers to the grapes in Campania and other regions of central Italy. The wine has a yellow color tending to golden with amber highlights, an alcoholic, ethereal, characteristic flavor and a soft, warm and harmonious with a distinctive aftertaste.
