Italian Cuisine: in a Langhe’s castle the Italian National Chefs Team

Near Alba, Piedmont, in the medieval castle of Roddi, a small village of Langhe hills, is going to be the birthplace of the training camp for young Italian chefs who want to compete in international cooking competitions: the name is Bocuse d'Or Italia Academy directed by Enrico Crippa, chef of the restaurant Piazza Duomo in Alba, three Michelin Stars and five Espresso hats. The first task of the Academy will be to prepare the Italian Team to challenge 19 teams of other European countries at the European selection of the “Chefs World Cup” that is the Bocuse d'Or. Crippa explained that "The aim of the Academy is to provide the candidates with the tools they need to get ready for a top-level challenge like the Bocuse d'Or, the world's most important gastronomic contest, in order to honor and maintain the best Italian food culture in Europe and in the world".
