In Italy spent more than 2 billion for Christmas meals

2,3 billion Euros: this is what the Italians have spent at the tables for the food and beverages of Christmas’ Eve dinner and Christmas lunch, that almost 9 Italians on 10 (88%) have spent at home with friends and relatives. Another confirmation of how the Italians cannot renounce to its own traditions, even more when it comes to food: according to Coldiretti exotic foods have almost completely disappeared and the Made in Italy won with boiled and roasted meats, traditional cappelletti with broth, homemade pizzas and desserts. To cook all of this the Italians made another record: an average 3,3 hours time in the kitchen to prepare all the necessary dishes!
