Michelin Guide: Caterina Ceraudo is the best Female Chef in 2017

The presentation of the 62nd edition of the Michelin Guide Italy 2017, held in Parma, brought a breath of fresh air including a tribute to women of haute cuisine promoted by Veuve Clicquot. The Award Female Chef 2017 has been assigned to Caterina Ceraudo of Ristorante Dattilo, in Strongoli (Calabria), Michelin starred Restaurant since 2012. Young Calabrian chef, born in 1987, Caterina Ceraudo in 2013 took the control of the family restaurant in the middle of an organic farm, where orchards, vineyards and olive groves provide the products for Caterina’s cuisine, typical, simple and full of flavor. Caterina’s cuisine is "modern and uncomplicated at the same time, flavors are often balanced with the right amount of acidity and sweetness." Young, creative and determined, Caterina is a beautiful story of Italian women entrepreneurs.
