Founded in 1893 by Giuseppe da Ponte, Ferrarelle once again has been a 100% Italian-owned company since 2005, when it was proudly brought back to Italy as one of its historic brands. The choice of name reflects the company's desire to identify with its historic homonymous brand: the quintessential naturally effervescent water that has existed since 1893. Its 350 employees work in the company's three strategic locations: Milan; Riardo (Caserta), home of the Parco delle Sorgenti, sponsored by FAI, which is where the springs of Ferrarelle, Santagata and Natìa flow; and Darfo Boario Terme (Brescia).Awards

The Ferrarelle waters’ spring is located in Riardo in the South of Italy. The town has really ancient origins and its mineral waters were already known by the Romans. The Ferrarelle factory is situated in the ancient Della Ferrara Abbey, near a field called “monks field”, where according to a legend, praying monks ghosts used to appear when falling the night. Story tells that the workers of night shift used to keep away from that place even if the ghosts where good spirits. From the abbey name comes Ferrarelle name (small Ferraras).History
Ferrarelle was born in 1893 thanks to Giuseppe de Ponte. The Riardo springs and their beneficial effects were known since the days of the Roman Empire and mentioned in the writings of Vitruvius and Pliny the Elder. In the 18th century these springs were considered among the most important "tasty sparkling waters" of Italy. In 1930 for the first time Ferrarelle referred to itself as a product chosen for its flavor, mainly for fine dining. In 1993 Ferrarelle celebrates its first 100 years; Ferrarelle mineral water has been exactly the same for a century: natural, effervescent, and an inimitable masterpiece of nature.Contacts
