Cascina Bongiovanni wines won both national and international awards. In 2008 and 2009, Barolo Pernanno DOCG got a score of 93 on 100 on the Wine Advocate, in 2008 got a score of 93 on 100 on the Wine Spectator, in 2001 scored 92, in 2000 scored 93 and in 1998 scored 88. The Barolo DOCG on the Wine Advocate in 2009 got 90 points, in 2008 91 points, in 2006 91 points; the Wine Spectator in 2008 awarded it with91 points, in 2000 91 points, in 1998 got 88 points and in 2005 won the bronze medal at the Decanter World Wide Awards. The Langhe Arneis was awarded by the Wine Spectator with 88 points in 2011 and 90 points in 2003, it also won in 2005 the Silver Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. The Dolcetto d’Alba got 90 points on the Wine Spectator in 2010.
History
Cascina Bongiovanni was born in 1950: Davide Mozzone, enologist and current owner of the company, in the Nineties starts bottling all the wines produced in the farm and maketing them both nationally and internationally.
