European Day 2019

In Europe, Europe Day is a celebration to foster unity among Europeans. The basic ideas behind the European Union were put forward on 9th May 1950 by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Schuman.

This date is now celebrated as a key date in the creation of the European Union.

The European Union Delegation to China of the European Commission held a reception with live music in Beijing on Tuesday the 9th in honour of Europe Day, an annual event celebrated since 1950.

All European countries that took part to the event brought typical products and specialties of their country: an explosion of tastes and colours.

100ITA, as the representative of Italy, was invited by Italian Embassy in Beijing to join the event to represent Italy with some Italian Exquisite Truffle products and fine wines of our producers. At the Event 100ITA has also the pleasure to meet the Commercial counselor of Italian embassy in China at the Italian Corner.
