2026 ITALIAN NATIONAL DAY

On June 1, 2026, the Italian Embassy in Beijing was brilliantly illuminated and filled with distinguished guests, radiating a solemn yet festive atmosphere. A grand reception marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Italian Republic was held here. Ambassador of Italy to China, Massimo Ambroso, and Li Jian, Director of the European Department at China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended together with representatives from various sectors of Chinese and international communities to celebrate this significant moment symbolizing the deep friendship between China and Italy. The event was attended by prominent companies including 100ITA, Ferrari, Italian IMOLA Ceramics, GENERALI Insurance, and other leading enterprises.

At the beginning of the event, Ambassador Ambrosi delivered an enthusiastic speech. He reviewed the development process and remarkable achievements of Italy over the past 80 years since its founding, and highly praised the profound friendship and cooperation between China and Italy in politics, economy, culture and other fields. Ambassador Ambrosi extended a warm welcome and festive greetings to the guests present, and stated that this National Day reception was not only a tribute to Italy's history, but also a vivid manifestation of the continuous deepening of cultural exchanges between China and Italy.

The performance segment at the event was full of excitement. Pianist Angela Meluso and tenor cello player Mauro Tortorelli jointly presented a duet, and all the guests present were deeply immersed in the heartfelt dialogue between the piano and the cello. Subsequently, pianist Giulia Mazzoni took the stage. Her unparalleled piano performance captivated the entire audience. In the pure melodies flowing from the Facciolari piano, the guests were immersed in this high-level audio-visual feast, deeply experiencing the elegance and profound depth of Italian culture.
