The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), with the support of the Italian Embassy to the P.R.C. and the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, and part of the official program of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad, successfully hosted the XII edition of Notte Italiana. This year’s gala, themed “Night on the Slopes”, gathered more than 500 guests from across China, bringing together representatives of the Italian and Chinese business communities for an evening celebrating excellence, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

Notte Italiana reaffirmed its role as a key platform for fostering dialogue between Italy and China. The event offered a unique opportunity for the Italian community in China and for professionals devoted to strengthening bilateral ties to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate shared achievements. The evening once again highlighted the importance of Made in Italy, showcasing its contribution to innovation, creativity, and international cooperation.

Distinguished institutional representatives attending and addressing the audience included: Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti, Ambassador of Italy to the P.R.C., Yu Yuantang, Director General of the European Department, MOFCOM, Francesco Pensabene, Director of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Beijing Office, Federico Roberto Antonelli, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing and President of EUNIC China, and Ivana Jelinic, CEO of ENIT – Italian National Tourist Board.

As the premier Italian-themed event in China, this event boasts numerous highlights. On the spot, there is not only an Italian cuisine feast presented by Michelin-starred chef Enrico Mazarone, but also a special performance of "The Snow Queen" by the Blue Light Theatre, immersively conveying the Italian Alpine cultural heritage and mountain life aesthetics. What's worth mentioning is the unexpected appearance of international film star Jackie Chan, which added much star power and topics to the event.

Held in the context of the 10th Edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the evening will offer an exquisite culinary experience to our guests, highlighting the richness of Italy’s food and wine heritage. central to the evening was the Michelin-starred menu curated by Michelin-starred Chef Enrico Mazarone. The menu was complemented by premium wines from 100ITA, Lunanera, SinoDrink. Chef and representatives took the stage and guided guests through the wine pairings.
