MEMBERS’ BRIEFING, ADAPTING TO THE NEW GLOBAL LANDSCAPE

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) held its Members’ Briefing event titled “Adapting to the New Global Landscape: Trade, Tariffs and Green Shift” on May 27th at Capital Club Beijing. The event brought together around 40 participants for an in-depth discussion on shifting trade dynamics, evolving tariff regimes, and China’s accelerating green transition.
The event was hosted by Francesco Innocenti, CICC Board Member North China, and saw the opening remarks of Liam Jia, Team Lead at the EU SME Centre who introduced the work of the Centre, highlighting its role in supporting European small and medium-sized enterprises through knowledge, training, and tailored advice for the Chinese market. Following the presentations, participants had the chance to engage directly with speakers during the networking aperitif, foster connections and build new partnerships.
