101st China Food & Drink Fair - Autumn Edition 2019

Meijiang Exhibition Center, Tianjin

20-26 October 2019

From October the 24th to the 26th in Tianjin was held the 101st Autumn Edition of the CFDF (China Food and Drinks Fair), taking place this year at the MeiJiang Exhibition Center. The CFDF is the oldest fair (since 1955) in the sector of Food and Wine organized in China and has been considered as the most important branding and communication platform for the Country wine industry. The exhibitors’ area was 119,233 square meters; it saw the participation of more than 2,600 food, wine, seasoning and related industry technology and service enterprises, exhibits from more than 40 countries and regions.

As the leading Chinese trade Fair in the wine industry, it recorded approximately 3,000 exhibitors, 300,000 buyers and 20 billion RMB transactions each fair.

The organizers this year have chosen Tianjin because the city is a coastal metropolis in northern China and one of the nine national central cities of the People's Republic of China (PRC), with a total population of 15,469,500, and is also the world's 11th-most populous city proper. It is governed as one of the four municipalities under the direct administration of central government of the PRC and is thus under direct administration of the central government. Tianjin borders Hebei Province and Beijing Municipality, bounded to the east by the Bohai Gulf portion of the Yellow Sea. Part of the Bohai Economic Rim, it is the largest coastal city in northern China and is very strategic for the relevance of one of the biggest Port in the world.

In particular this important and exclusive Fair was the perfect occasion for the official presentation of very first Art Wine created all over the world, 100% handmade in Italy, designed by the Artist Simone Filosi (and only available in the official shop of 100ITA in JD.com). “Antica Realtà” is the name of this very special wine, a Moscato Rosè in which the classic Moscato d’Asti white is blended with an ancient grape of Black moscato rediscovered by the producer of the wine.  It attracted guests with a high degree of visual and gustatory love.
